How to Apply

Step 1: Choose your course

We offer a variety of different courses for 14-16 year olds|. Take a look through this website and ask your school for a list of our courses. If you want to “try before you buy”, ask your school to contact us to organise a Taster Session.  This is an opportunity for you to come to College, meet the tutors and see whether the course is right for you. 

Step 2: Apply

Fill in an application form, available from your school. For Early Bird courses you should complete a College application form|. Your school will need to support your application, including, where appropriate, providing us with a statement of educational needs, exam access arrangements and free school meal status.

Step 3: Selection Day

Once we receive your application form, we’ll forward it on to our tutors who will decide who to invite in for a Selection Day. This will give you the chance to find out more about the College and your course.  

Step 4: Offer

If your application is successful we will offer you a place within two weeks of the Selection Day.

Step 5: Enrol

You will be sent a joining pack and you and your parents or guardians will be invited in to the College in July for a new parents evening to enrol on your course. During this evening you will complete an enrolment form, permission slip and receive more information about your course.

Step 6: Induction

Your course starts with an introduction to the College and your course to give you the opportunity to find out more and meet tutors and other students.
