The College Experience

• School students are of a similar age to you.

  College students might be any age from 14 to 90! Our students often say that one of the things they like most is being treated like an adult.

• At school you have to wear uniform.
  At College you don’t have to wear a uniform, but you may need personal protective equipment, overalls, boots, etc. 

• School facilities might be good...but at College we're known for having more resources than other schools and colleges and more room for them - come and check out our workshops and other facilities!

• At school you usually call your teachers Mr or Mrs.

  At College, unless you are told otherwise, you may call your tutor by their first name.

• At school there are bells to indicate lesson changes and when to return from breaks.

  At College there are no breaks and you take responsibility for being in the right place at the right time.
