Animal Care Taster Day (Level 2) - 2016:17
This taster day is for anyone looking to apply for the Animal Care Level 2 programme this September. You will join a group of Level 2 Animal Care students for the day. You will be working in our brand new Animal Management Centre and the range of species that we have. Activities could include; feeding, cleaning, handling and learning how to work with a wide range of species. You will also partake in a range of theory lessons to give an insight into a day of being an Animal Management student at the College. Please note, if you have already applied for the programme and are awaiting an interview or have already been interviewed you will automatically be invited to a taster day with us in July. These taster days are for prospective students who have not yet applied for the programme.

Animal Management BSc (Hons) Top Up Degree - 2017:18
Designed to extend skills and knowledge learned at Foundation Degree level. You will have the opportunity through the professional development module to advance your professional and/or academic career prospects whilst studying units in business and management related to your industry. You will also be able to extend your animal management training and benefit from a range of industry-related and career development opportunities in various commercial settings. The dissertation allows you to develop skills and expertise in your chosen field.

Animal Science FdSc Foundation Degree - 2017:18
This programme is subject to validation. Investigate the physiology, behaviour and welfare of a range of species underpinned by contemporary issues in animal science, supported by the study of the wide range of species in the College's Animal Management Centre and in relevant commercial settings through talks and demonstrations from guest speakers and trips. Underpinning theory is delivered in the classroom. Industrial experience, assessed through the professional development module over two years, will be undertaken in a related field and will give you invaluable experience in your specialism with 200 hours to be undertaken each year at a relevant employer ideally with domestic species.

Arboriculture (Trees and Timber) Intermediate Level Apprenticeship - 2016:17
This apprenticeship covers the main occupational areas within the trees and timber industry. This industry covers the establishment, care, maintenance and management of trees, woodlands and forests, as well as the production of wood and timber products.Please note, this apprenticeship is correct at time of publishing, but may be subject to change due to impending government reforms
