You can apply for courses at Merrist Wood College in the following ways:

  • Apply by Email

Download the Application and Enrolment Form Word document, fill it in and then email it to: mwinfo@guildford.ac.uk

  • Apply by Post

Download an application form, fill it in and post it to: Merrist Wood College, Worplesdon, Guildford, Surrey, GU3 3PE

Application and Enrolment Form PDF file.

You should fill in an application form and send it to us as soon as possible – our courses fill up fast! We may also ask you to provide references, typically from your school, or perhaps an employer if you have been working.

Step 3: Interview

We will invite you to an interview. The interview normally lasts 30 minutes and enables you to discuss your course choices and plans for the future. We’ll also tell you about any materials or equipment you need and the support we
can offer.

Don’t forget to bring with you your qualification certificates and any other documents or portfolios of your work.

Step 4: Offer

If your interview is successful we will offer you a place within two weeks. If you don’t get your first choice we can advise you on suitable alternatives.

Step 5: Enrol

You will be sent a joining pack in the summer and invited to enrol on your course. If your offer is conditional you will need to wait for your results and then enrol. Whatever your results, we’ve got a course for you. Our Information, Advice and Careers Team can offer you personalised one-to-one advice on courses, getting to university or the right training to start work.

Step 6: Induction

Your course starts with an introduction to the College and your course to give you the opportunity to find out more and meet tutors and other students.

Step 7: Study

Get started! One or two years of work, with some fun thrown in of course!
