Arboriculture (Trees and Timber) Intermediate Level Apprenticeship - 2017:18
This Level 2 Trees and Timber Apprenticeship is to be replaced with the new Arborist Standard from October 2017. The new Arborist Standard is a more detailed course, specified by the industry and will provide apprentices with the practical skills and knowledge to be able to work to a high standard.

Environmental Conservation Intermediate Level Apprenticeship - 2017:18
Environmental conservation covers a wide range of areas including the conservation of natural habitats, management of public access and enjoyment of the countryside. Apprentices attend College one day a week to complete knowledge-based qualifications. There is a mandatory health and safety unit and a choice of ten optional units. The course covers the welfare, supervision and riding of horses. t’s one of the most diverse industries within the land-based sector with opportunities for working in livery yards, riding schools, racing yards, training yards or using harnessed horses.
