Entry Requirements 
5 GCSEs at C and above, or equivalent or appropriate experience/knowledge.

Content / Overview 

A nationally recognised qualification awarded by City and Guilds, giving a broad programme of technical and professional skills in the chosen field. Topics: practical and theoretical floristry, sales techniques, window display, applied design and colour, interior landscaping, stock control, keyboard and computer skills, health and safety, retail work experience.



Delivery Method 
Through a mixture of practical and theoretical lessons.

Assessment 
Project work, assignments, written and practical skills tests, online multiple choice exam.

Progression 
Floristry Diploma Level 3.

Additional Information 
Course fees for the part-time course do not include the plant materials and sundries required.





All students aged 19 years or over on 1 September in the first year of their course are expected to pay tuition, registration, exam fees and all other course related costs. Some assistance with these costs may be available depending on your circumstances and the latest government funding position. There are normally no tuition, registration or examination fees to pay if you are aged 16-18 on 1 September in the first year of your course and are a British or European Union resident. This does not apply to HNCs/Ds, Foundation Degrees, Degrees or courses that do not attract government funding.
