Why Study Here Merrist Wood College which has excellent training resources, including a small mammal collection, a reptile house, birds of prey, dog grooming, our own reindeer, a range of farm animals etc. The College also has close links with many key figures within the animal care industry. Further learning resources include the library's extensive collection of books, magazines and periodicals.

Application Method Application followed by individual interview
Entry Requirements You should be working in the industry and interested in developing your skills. Good GCSEs are an advantage.
Delivery Method Training is delivered in the workplace and an assessor will monitor your progress and conduct assessments in the workplace.
Progression Merrist Wood College offers a range of animal management courses, up to Foundation Degrees and Degrees in Animal Management or Animal Behaviour and Welfare.
