Practical work is carried out in the grounds of the 400-acre Merrist Wood estate and you will be instructed by specialist teaching staff in the use of machinery in outdoor, laboratory and workshop settings.

Moving on
Following the completion of your Arboriculture course, you could undertake professional courses validated by the Arboriculture Association or the Royal Forestry Society, available at the College. We also offer an Applied Ecology and Countryside Management Foundation Degree. Alternatively you could undertake a degree in Arboriculture, Land or Countryside Management.
