Landscaping focuses on the development of outdoor areas for leisure and business use and for the benefit of the environment. Landscaping is physically creative work needing practical skills in building with hard materials and working with plants and turf.

Strong links with industry, our beautiful 400 acre estate, specialist machines and workshops will provide you with the essential elements you need to carve out a career in the industry, or to enhance your landscape skills.

Practical work is carried out in the campus grounds and you will benefit from specialist instruction in the use of stone, brick, concrete and timber and machinery such as dumpers, excavators and rotary cultivators. Visits are also made to local sites and nurseries preparing you for creative, skilled and practical work in the industry.
