To celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week, Merrist Wood College is delighted to launch an Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Diploma with Peter Jones of Dragon’s Den.
This exciting course has been developed in partnership with the Peter Jones National Enterprise Academy (NEA) and in consultation with entrepreneurs and business people. It will help develop an entrepreneurial mindset and will focus on developing the skills needed to start a business. Students will benefit from contact with experienced entrepreneurs and business people and by participating in hands-on enterprise activities. In addition they will interact with both national and local entrepreneurs, working on a range of business challenges, both within teams and as an individual.
Peter Jones said “If you have ever had a great thought that would make money the Diploma will help you develop your ideas and ultimately create the bible of business – a business plan. You’ll need to know all the component parts including market research, financial modeling, pitching to investors and developing your entrepreneurial mindset. You’ll gain the focus and know-how to guide you through the hundreds of decisions successful business people make each day.”
