Merrist Wood Riding Arena
Our Equine Centre is one of the top facilities in the south east and recognised as a pre-Olympic training venue for the 2012 Olympic Games. It features:

90m x 30m indoor riding arena - one of the largest of any college in the country, with a waxed track cushioned surface

30m x 60m all-weather floodlit outdoor arena

Two permanent grass competition spaces, allowing us to run derby show jumping and our annual, student organised May show

Stabling for over 40 horses
The centre hosts events and competitions most weekends throughout the year, which include affiliated and unaffiliated show jumping, unaffiliated and affiliated dressage up to Grand Prix, indoor carriage driving, British Eventing JAS, lecture demonstrations and clinics by leading trainers and riders. Dog agility clubs also regularly use the arena to host shows and weekly evening training clinics as do local Pony Club and Riding Clubs.

Please remember if you wish to use the online times facility, you must email us to confirm you have seen your times. If we do not hear from you, it is taken that you may have withdrawn, and your time may be given away to someone on the waiting list for that class.
