With over 50 medals won at RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, our Floristry students are celebrating another year of success!
Each year our students are often given the opportunity to take part in a number competitions, showcasing their skills and talents at a local, national and international level.

Elizabeth Newcombe joined Team UK at the EuroSkills Final in Budapest and was awarded a Medallion of Excellence for showcasing an international standard
After months of training and mentoring, Elizabeth competed with the best from across Europe and was tasked with creating six floral arrangements including
a hanging wreath, a standing arrangement, a hand-tied bouquet, a bridal bouquet, a top-table arrangement and a “surprise” task.
RHS Hampton Court Flower Show
Monet Martin and Vivien Withers, who are both studying Level 3 Floristry, won Silver and Bronze medals in the ‘Future Florists’ category, which continues to seek out and reward the very best students from floristry schools and recognised colleges across the UK.
Jasmine Bicknell, who is studying the Level 5 Masters Diploma in Professional Floristry, designed a Silver medal-winning display for a local florists in the ‘Floral Web Floristry’ competition.
RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Students from the Level 5 Masters Diploma in Professional Floristry took part in the ‘RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year’ competition, run in association with the British Florist Association.
Laura Spackman entered the competition with her employer, The Secret Garden, and was awarded a Silver medal. Whilst fellow student, Pippa Craigen, was awarded a Bronze medal for her floral throne.

now Level 5 of the City and Guilds and have most definitely made the right choice!"
