Equine Apprentice Achieves Great Success on National Arena

Hannah Collard-Gray, an Equine Apprentice from Merrist Wood College, has recently competed in the Riding for the Disabled Association National Championships and has achieved fantastic success! The Championships took place at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire and were run over 3 days.

Following her success in the national dressage competition, Hannah was then featured in a July edition of Horse and Hound magazine, the oldest equestrian weekly magazine of the UK.

Hannah, who is partially sighted, has worked very hard throughout her time at the College. She joined Merrist Wood College as an Equine Management student and successfully completed her course, before then undertaking an Apprenticeship. Dawn Elwin, Curriculum Leader for Equine Management described Hannah's experience as "a massive achievement". We would like to wish huge congratulations to Hannah for a fabulous achievement and we wish her lots more success in the future!
